The chief minister of Tamilnadu Ms Jayalalithaa today condoled the deaths of Parthiban of Vellore district and Pazhaniappan of Coimbatore district who were victims of accidents.

In a statement released today Ms Jayalalithaa said that Parthiban of Ambur in Vellore district had died on the spot when a state bus, rammed into the tractor he was driving.This accident took place at the 4-way road junction in Kulithikai.



Ms Jayalalithaa  expressed her condolences to the bereaved family members of Partrhiban and ordered a cash solatium of 1 lakh rupees from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.



In another obituary message, Ms Jayalalithaa condoled the death of Pazhaniappan of Coimbatore who was trampled by a wild elephant.



Expressing anguish over the death of Pazhaniappan, Ms Jayalalithaa ordered a cash solatium of 3 lakh rupees from the forest department funds to his bereaved family members.
