The Managing Director of the Tamil Daily Maalai Murasu, B Ramachandra Adithan met Ms Jayalalithaa at the secretariat and received her wishes as the new edition of the daily is to be circulated across Tamilnadu from the 25th of this month.

His son and the director of the daily BR Kannan Adithan was also present.

VR Karthik Thondaiman, who won in the recently held Pudhukottai by elections met Ms Jayalalithaa along with his family members and received her blessings.

The chairman of the Bar Council of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry D Selvam met Ms Jayalalithaa today at the secretariat. This meeting was termed as a courtesy call.

PS Amalraj, the deputy chairman of the bar council of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry and several office-bearers of the Indian Bar Council were present during the meet.
The President of the Tamilnadu Secretariat Association S Peter Anthonysamy and other newly elected functionaries also met Ms Jayalalithaa and received her wishes.
