These works including a four lane bridge connecting Trichy and Srirangam and a 162 kilometre road connecting Mamallapuram with Ennore Port will be implemented at a cost of 1,513 crore rupees.
Making a statement under rule 110, Ms Jayalalithaa announced construction of new bridges, ring roads and by pass roads in the state to ease traffic congestion.
