She said she prayed to the almighty that the people should follow the path shown by Jesus Christ which was the way to peace happiness and amity in a spirit of sacrifice. 

In her message of greetings , Ms Jayalalithaa conveyed her heartiest wishes to all the Christians celebrating Easter, the day of  resurrection  of Jesus.

Jesus Christ was crucified to wipe away the sins of humanity.

Following his crucifixion he returned to his bodily life after three days.

This resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated as Easter by the Christians across the world.

Ms Jayalalithaa in her greetings  wished the Christians who were celebrating Easter  all happiness and asked them to follow the path of truth, love and peace as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
