The 95th birth anniversary of the AIADMK's founder leader Dr MGR will be celebrated tomorrow. The party's general secretary and chief minister of Tamilnadu Ms Jayalalithaa will garland his statue at the party headquarters in Royapettah in Chennai at 10.30 in the morning. A special souvenir will also be released.

Later, the statues of Anna and MGR, installed at the Kallakuruchi municipal bus depot in south Vizhupuram district, will be unveiled by Ms Jayalalithaa through video conferencing.

Further cash assistance will be provided to college students from poor families to pay for their fees.

Party headquarters functionaries, ministers,MPs, MLAs, functionaries of MGR Manrams, J Jayalalithaa Peravai and the various wings of the Party will take part in the function.
